Who are we?

 

Hans and Philippe,

one baker's son and forester, the other born entrepreneur and animal lover, found each other in their quest for ecologically responsible entrepreneurship and this resulted in the start-up of an organic bakery:
 

'De Zotte Morgen'

 

Because we believe in agriculture with respect for nature and want to keep food kilometers to a minimum, we opt for organic flour made from Belgian grain.

 

We consider the impact on the environment in every aspect of our business. That is why we consciously use water and energy and we encourage reusable packaging or provide a recyclable / compostable alternative.

 

We don't just think about the environment, your health is also important to us. For example, we use less salt, less sugar and butter only when necessary.

All our loaves are made with sourdough. Leaven is a natural fermentation process that not only makes our breads rise. It also ensures better digestion, a lower sugar level, longer freshness and above all more flavor.

 

What are we doing?

 

We offer Wheat, Rye and Spelled bread daily, as well as baguette, sweet bread and biscuits.

All our products are home-made and handmade, with products of organic origin, mostly vegan, always vegetarian and sometimes gluten-free.
